Claude Bourreille : Du visible à l'invisible. La quête du sens
RÉSUMÉ : Toutes les fonctions de l'esprit sont engagées par le processus de la vision, dans l'immense effort du devenir conscient qui se traduit selon les formes différentes décrivant la relation de l'homme au monde, à lui-même, aux autres, à l'Autre. Dans cet article, l'auteur évoque le parcours de l'être humain individuel et collectif, de la naissance à la mort, qui le mène aux portes de l'invisible.
SUMMARY : All the functions of the mind are engaged by the process of vision, in the immense effort to become conscious, which assumes different forms depending upon the way they describe man's relationship to the world, to himself, to others, to the Other. In this article, the author discusses the individual and collective human journey from birth to death, which brings it to the gates of the invisible.

Bernadette Vandenbroucke : Un monde à l'envers
RÉSUMÉ : Les perceptions visuelles du monde, par l'entrecroisement des voies optiques, en donnent une image inversée. Ce renversement, inscrit dans la structure du corps, appartient aussi à la dynamique de la vie psychique. Bien plus, il constitue une étape fondatrice de l'identité. C'est l'expérience du miroir, initiée par le regard de la mère, qui conduit à vivre l'altérité. En analyse les patients disent cette quête de reconnaissance qui signe l'échec de ce renversement
SUMMARY : Visual perceptions of the world are projected upside-down on the retina by the refraction of the optical pathways. This reversal, an integral part of the physiology of vision, also belongs to the dynamic of psychic life. Furthermore, it is one of the cornerstones of an individual's identity. The experience of the mirror, initiated by the mother's gaze, is a step towards experiencing other-ness. Patients in analysis speak of a quest for recognition, proof that the reversal has failed to operate.

Christine Blettery : Fixer l'absence... S'ouvrir à l'invisible
RÉSUMÉ : L'auteur rapporte le rêve de fin d'analyse d'une analysante enfermée dans le deuil impossible de sa mère précocement disparue. C'est par l'étayage du regard et de la présence de l'analyste que la fixation sur la figure absente et l'emprise violente exercée par cette image ont pu céder. Un voir tout autre s'est animé, lui permettant d'accéder à la restauration du regard sur elle-même et, par là même, à une ouverture à l'invisible et à son potentiel créatif.
SUMMARY : The author relates the end-of-analysis dream of an analysand trapped in impossible grief for her mother, who had died prematurely. Due to the sustained gaze and presence of the analyst, the fixation on the absent figure and the lacerating grip of the image finally released their hold on the patient's psyche. An entirely different sight was aroused, a bridge to restoring the analysand's perception of herself and, by that very token, an opening to the invisible and its creative potential.

Gabriel R. Thibault : Bernardin de Saint-Pierre : l'œil et le déchiffrement du monde
RÉSUMÉ : Les Études et les Harmonies de la nature sont une théologie poétique dont la matière s'inspire de l'ìuvre de Platon et des spéculations métaphysiques des auteurs chrétiens sur le thème de la participation universelle. L'idée majeure de B. de Saint-Pierre est que la nature enseigne l'homme par le paysage. D'où un rôle prépondérant de l'œil dans cette théologie.
SUMMARY : Saint-Pierre's Études and Harmonies de la nature are poetic theology, on subjects inspired by the works of Plato and metaphysical speculations by Christian authors on the theme of universal participation. Saint-Pierre's theme is that Nature instructs Man through the landscape ; hence, the preponderant role of the eye in this theology.

Ghislaine de Laage : Les racines antérieures de la vision, ou les mystères du «voir »
RÉSUMÉ : Les racines antérieures de la vision sont de trois ordres : l'ordre physiologique, qui concerne tout le tractus nerveux en arrière des yeux jusqu'au cortex occipital ; l'ordre fonctionnel, qui s'organise durant la période fœtale et la toute petite enfance ; l'ordre symbolique, qui révèle la perception qu'a le sujet de ses énergies parentales et de sa filiation. Les deux derniers points sont explorables grâce à la visualisation.
SUMMARY : The ventral roots of vision belong to three orders : the physiological order, which concerns the entire nerve tract leading from behind the eyes to the occipital cortex ; the functional order, which is organized during the period of fetal and early infant growth ; and the symbolic order, which reveals the subject's perception of his parental energies and filiation. The last two points can be explored through visualization.

Christiane Fonseca : Un enfant me regarde, je vois un enfant
RÉSUMÉ : Un enfant atteint d'une atrophie du cervelet, avec des défenses autistiques, met à rude épreuve sa thérapeute. C'est le regard de cet enfant, illuminé par l'amour, qui permettra à sa thérapeute de réaliser qu'il y a en lui une dimension sacrée, au-delà de son handicap physique.
SUMMARY : A child diagnosed with atrophy of the cerebellum, with autistic defenses, subjects his therapist to quite an ordeal. The child's gaze, illuminated with love, enables the therapist to realize that there is a sacred dimension to this individual which goes beyond his physical handicap.

Brigitte Allain-Dupré : Observer un nourrisson
RÉSUMÉ : L'auteur, dans une fiction d'observation de la relation mère-bébé selon la méthode d'Esther Bick, observe le rapport enfant-adulte à partir d'une scène de Nativité datant de la Renaissance italienne. Les aspects non verbaux de sensorialité sont reliés aux dimensions incestueuses du transfert et du contre-transfert. Sa réflexion critique à propos de la baby observation l'amène à développer le point de vue jungien sur la transformation mutuelle issue de la rencontre, analytique ou non, avec l'autre.
SUMMARY : For a fictitious observation of the mother-baby relationship according to Esther Bick's method, the author looks at the infant-adult relationship as depicted in a nativity scene from the Italian Renaissance. The non-verbal aspects of sensoriality are related to the incestuous dimensions of transference and countertransference. The author's criticism of the baby observation technique leads her to develop the Jungian viewpoint on the mutual transformation arising from the analytic encounter, or lack thereof, with the other.

RÉSUMÉ : L'EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) est un traitement des traumatismes utilisé dans le monde entier en centres spécialisés pour les stress post-traumatiques. L'auteur décrit comment il intègre cette nouvelle ñ technologie î à son travail de psychanalyste jungien. Il propose quelques idées concernant les liens entre cette manière de travailler et l'approche psychanalytique.
SUMMARY : EMDR* (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a treatment for trauma used throughout the world in centeres specializing in post-traumatic stress disorders. The author describes how he integrates this new ñ technology î into his work as a Jungian psychoanalyst. He explores the possible links between this method and the psychoanalytic approach.

Aimé Agnel : Un regard qui trompe l'ennui « Fenêtre sur cour » d'Alfred Hitchcock
RÉSUMÉ : Immobilisé sur une chaise roulante après un accident, le photographe L. B. Jefferies, dit Jeff, s'ennuie (James Stewart dans Fenêtre sur cour d'Alfred Hitchcock). Par sa fenêtre qui donne sur la cour, il regarde vivre ses voisins et découvre qu'un homme a tué sa femme et a fait disparaître le corps. Le film est analysé comme métaphore de l'intégration de l'ombre personnelle d'abord projetée sur autrui. En se rapprochant de sa propre ombre, le sujet s'introvertit ; il peut se relier à l'anima et la reconnaître comme son meilleur guide. Dans le film, par cette confiance en l'anima et l'acceptation de son autonomie, Jeff accède à la dépendance amoureuse dont il se défendait par crainte qu'elle soit une limite à sa liberté.
SUMMARY : Immobilized in a wheelchair following an accident, photographer L. B. Jefferies (James Stewart in Rear Window by Alfred Hitchcock), is bored. He begins watching his neighbours through the rear window of his apartment, and discovers that one of them has murdered his wife and gotten rid of the body. The film is analyzed as a metaphor for the integration of the personal shadow initially projected onto the other. As the subject approaches his own shadow, he becomes introverted ; he can form a bond with the anima, recognizing her as his best guide. In the film, the hero's confidence in his anima and the acceptance of her independence enables him to attain the amorous dependence he had hitherto guarded against, fearing that it would curtail his liberty.

RÉSUMÉ : Depuis Eschyle, la prophétesse est condamnée à n'être jamais crue ni entendue. Son mythe a fasciné au cours des siècles. L'article interroge le regard de Cassandre aujourd'hui. Un regard qui se porte surtout sur le présent et pose la question à laquelle elle aussi se confronte désormais : comment pouvons-nous avoir tout sous les yeux, et ne rien voir ?
SUMMARY : Since Aeschylus, the prophetess has been doomed never to be heard or believed. Her myth has fascinated people for centuries. The author questions Cassandra's vision today, as it applies to the present ; what the author observes leads her to be confronted by the question of how we can have everything right before our eyes, and yet see nothing.
